Larry Fink’s Workshop
In conjunction with his visit to Project Basho to curate the ONWARD ‘11 exhibition, Larry Fink will also to teach a very special workshop, The Emotional Lens on December 4th and 5th. Mr. Fink’s unique take on the power of photographic images, along with his impressive body of work and experience as an educator, makes this a special treat for photographers looking to critically examine the issues inherent in their work.
While ONWARD ‘11 gives photographers the opportunity for Mr. Fink to see their work, The Emotional Lens takes it a step further by taking participants through a rigorous portfolio review with him. In examining each photographer’s process and the experiences that mark their vision, the instructor will open discussion to the subjective matters of the soul. Mr. Fink will guide photographers in assessing how these subjective matters are manifested within an objective vision, ultimately culminating in a unique photographic output.
Workshop attendees can expect a close level of interaction with Mr. Fink and should be prepared for a concerted investigation and evaluation of their creative process. For more information about the workshop, and how to enroll, please visit the workshop page.
Larry Fink will also be giving a special lecture in Philadelphia– which is open to the public – on Friday, December 3rd at 7pm. Stay tuned for more information regarding the exact location of the event.
